Putting the finishing touches on my Vietnam guide today! Hope you are all into a very food-heavy blog post...😋🍜🥢🍉🥒🥟🍵
I love including hidden gems like this one. We had one of the best meals of our trip on this rooftop restaurant in Hoi An, and it was emptyyy.
VIETNAM GUIDE DROPS TOMORROW 🙌🏼 who’s excited?!
It’s been 3 YEARS now since we moved abroad and I started our blog. If you’ve seen my IG stories lately, you’ve probably noticed I’ve done a couple trips without Jacob recently- which is still sooo strange for me! We spent 24/7 together last year traveling full-time, so it’s been a big change.
While I’m working on more BTS of our blog and other aspects of Find Us Lost, Jacob has actually been busy (off Instagram!) doing some amazing work in documentary film and spending time in an office- *gasp*, since we started renting a place in NYC!
We’re heading on a trip back to Europe later this month, and until then, enjoying the city. Thanks to everyone who read through my last post, I had fun ‘re-introducing’ myself here & responding to you all 🥰
I want to re-introduce myself on here, since it’s been too long! ❤️👋🏼 Here are some things you may or may not know about me:
I grew up in Palo Alto, California, (🙋🏼♀️ hey Bay Area followers!) & still absolutely love it there.
My favorite food in the world is pickles. Ask any of my close friends, chances are they will have a story of me eating a jar in front of them. You guys know who you are.. 🙈
In school I majored in psychology, then switched to a double major in PR/advertising and art. Though I mostly credit Jacob (my husband) with taking our photos here, I edit all our photos and I was obsessed with photography all through school. I spent hours in a darkroom developing film photos. Jacob says I enjoy photography more than him now.
I never planned to start and grow a travel Instagram. I actually really disliked social media, especially in school!
@finduslost was created as a way to share photos with friends/family during a 3-month long road trip before moving to Europe in 2016. When we started it, we both agreed neither of us would show our face in photos. 😂. We both still struggle with this at times.
Jacob proposed to me the day after we left to travel. He’s my best friend and meeting him made me believe in soulmates.
Things I blog about now: detailed travel guides, especially for Europe; photography tips, dreamy destinations; hotels and Airbnbs I love.
Things I want to blog about more: building a brand online; making an income blogging; photography & editing tutorials; sustainable travel and style.
This was fun! Hanging out at the pool all day today so ask me anything!👇🏼
I’M BACK 👋🏼 been hit with the flu the last week and a half but I’m (finally) recovered and excited to share more from India + Vietnam!
I just shared an update in my stories, and for the first time I’m letting YOU decide what I should work on. It’s pretty great...maybe I should always do it this way? 😉😛 Go check it out & leave a comment below if there’s something else you want to see!
NEW BLOG POST ✨ sharing our most memorable part of our India trip, all about our tiger safari! If India is on your bucket list you MUST check out this experience...
We almost didn’t make it to this part of India but I cannot recommend it enough. You guys voted for me to share this blog post first, so here it is - link in our profile! Much more content coming your way soon (from India and Vietnam)!! #finduslostpresets#glamping#safari#tigersafari#tigerreserve#bandhavgarh#bandhavgarhnationalpark
I am by no means comfortable posing for photos. It takes time and Jacob has helped me over the years! But when @bananarepublic asked if I wanted to take pieces from their new collection along to capture on my Vietnam trip, I couldn’t resist. My long-time friend @barbbadalian and I picked this one for dinner in the clouds, I love how it falls AND that it looks dressy but is machine washable! If you’re on the smaller side like me, definitely check out their petite line. 💁🏼♀️🌿 New favorite dress and now it’ll traverse plenty of countries with me...
