REMOVE UPPER LIP HAIR NATURALLY!
Here is an all natural way to remove upper lip hair. A paste made by using fresh wild halkunda (turmeric root) and rice flour is a popular Ayurvedic way of reducing upperlip hair and my dadi always talked about this technique. Since a lot of you wanted me to share a remedy for upperlip hair removal, here it is!
You can use fresh juice from turmeric or turmeric powder. If using turmeric powder like I did, you need to add water.
Combine 1 tablespoon rice flour with 1 pinch turmeric and add in enough water to make a paste. Apply the paste on the upper lip area and keep it for 10 minutes or until fully dried. Rub it off and rinse. You have to rub off the dried mask in order to make this technique work. The scrubbing technique helps scrape off fine hair and gradually reduces hair on the upper lips. Turmeric and rice flour also helps brighten the area. Do this twice to thrice a week to maintain results. .
Note: No home remedy is going to permanently make you hair free including this one! Even laser treatment doesn’t remove 100% hair. This technique will gradually reduce peach fuzz because of the buffing action and you need to keep doing this for months to maintain results. Shared this on popular demand. There is no ‘before’ and ‘after’ in this video.

How do I get rid of all of these little hairs on my face!? My makeup never sits nicely and I don’t want to laser!! My skin is dry and flaky? What can I do? Suitable for most skin types and pregnant women too!👇👇
Dermaplaning is a super effective exfoliating treatment in which a aesthetician uses a surgical scalpel to gently scrape off any dead skin cells on the surface of your skin and (along with the peach fuzz on your face). You might be wondering why is this necessary? It's because the buildup of dead skin and microscopic hairs can make your complexion appear dull, flaky and can even cause breakouts due to clogged pores and hair follicles. Which is why this form of mechanical exfoliation is essential for maintaining an even, healthy glow.
Contrary to what you might think, dermaplaning will not make your hair grow back thicker or darker and it won’t stimulate more hair growth. Once your hair begins to grow back it might feel different because the hair was cut straight across, but it's actually the same texture as before and grows at the same speed.
It'll change your life as far as makeup application goes. Ever notice how peach fuzz tends to stand out even more underneath foundation and face powders? Well, since the dermaplaning removes all the little hairs on your face your makeup will go on super smoothly. Your skincare products will also be more effective, since the product isn't being blocked by dead skin cells and can penetrate the skin faster.
The results can last up to four weeks. The procedure removes three weeks of dead skin cells!! So your glow will last all month long. But since your skin is always changing, you'll need to schedule an appointment every month or so to maintain your results! You’re welcome 😇
Happy Skincare Sunday!!
Todays skincare Sunday post is going to be all about laser hair removal on my underarms! It has been something that I have been wanting to do for a while now. Beyond excited and so happy that @semperlaser team is doing it for me!! My schedule has been so crazy lately that there have been times I have forgotten to shave my underarms 🙈 I know it is so embarrassing! But not anymore because I have already completed 1 of 8 sessions to remove the hair. I am on my way to #hairlessunderarms
Let me give you some details on my experience. I know it must sound painful to have laser done but it wasn’t painful at all! You just feel small little stinging sensation and it goes away quickly! Did I also mention it was done so fast which made me happy because I am girl on the go so I need to be in and out of appointments. I was told that I might get itchy after but I didn’t which made me so happy! If I did get itchy they recommended hydrocortisone but I swear I felt like I didn’t do anything to my underarms. My next session is in 6 weeks and I am ready for it!
